Lutheran Social Companies, Multi-Cultural Heart to merge MCC into LSS

Lutheran Social Companies and the Multi-Cultural Heart of Sioux Falls have agreed to merge the middle into LSS.

The information follows a 60-day “exploration course of” by the management of each organizations, as they each serve various communities in Sioux Falls with complementing providers.

Rebecca Kiesow-Knudsen, president and CEO of LSS, and Laurie Knutson, interim government director of the MCC, defined in a press launch that they consider aligning efforts will lead to higher outcomes for these they serve.

“Eradicating the duplication of administrative features creates an operational effectivity and a programming synergy to higher reply to shopper and neighborhood wants,” in line with a joint press launch from the organizations.
