Armie Hammer discusses his Broadway debut on the ‘Late Present with Stephen Colbert’

The “Name Me By Your Identify” actor is making his Broadway debut in “Straight White Males,” and on CBS’s “The Late Present with Stephen Colbert,” the California native confesses he loves using the subway.

“I [used to not] like this place, it’s too busy and hectic,” he explains. “However now that I’m right here for this [play] and I adore it. I do trip the subway, I’ve bought a MetroCard in my pocket.”

Additionally in his pocket? Peaches. The fruit performs a pivotal position in an erotic scene in “Name Me By Your Identify,” and Hammer says followers of the movie (and ebook) are coming to his play in droves.

“I get handed at the very least a peach or two at each stage door.”

Throughout his New York soujourn, he says his “Name Me By Your Identify” onscreen lover-turned-real-life buddy, Timothee Chalamet, has been giving him recommendation.
